Thanks Mike - I hoped there are some out there who find this thread of interest.

Fitting the drivetrain has required some precision due to its bulk compared to the original Datsun items. The jurid coupling between the diff input and the tailshaft leaves little clearance with the new front diff mounts which subsequently have to be secured in the transmission tunnel with countersunk bolts. Unfortunately no bolt supplier had 10mm countersunk bolts with a fine pitch – 1.25.

I purchased longer (75mm) coarse pitch bolts which had a plain shank portion and machined a fine pitch thread into the shank area and then cut them off at 25mm length. Just one on those many many time consuming issues which come up with these builds.
