Tru,

The Daytona is still in the rebuild process but is coming along very well. Just a couple of major things left and then some minor stuff that has to be fixed and tested. We don't have many car shows in this area any more as the economy and Calif. laws kind of killed them off. I take the 60 Cobra out when I want to go to a small show and shine or something like a car get together. I finally made copies of the registry for the 69 Cobra and a picture of Richard Petty's to put with it as I get tired of answering the same question over and over. No, it isn't a Torino Cobra as the only Torinos Ford made in 1969 were the GTs. Right on the first sheet of the registry it says they were called Fairlane Cobras, Ford Cobras, or just Cobras which is what Ford called them. The body is a 68 Fairlane body that was reworked and if yo park next to a 69 Torino GT you can see some major differences right away. Others are hidden such as drive train and such.
