Judging by your - shall we say
sedate driving style:
Skip aluminum and just improve what you've got- you don't run the ricers and bikes at 3AM on Connecting Highway. Just use your existing core; 447 with a clean-up bore to 454, 10:1 pistons and CNC your heads is a fine start for a 540 HP and 590 lb/ft street motor, done at say 6100. A nice 1.3 torque-to-impress-the-adoring throngs.
Brent will pick out a nice juice roller to give plenty of lope and rump to intimidate the dry-cleaner and give you goose bumps. The Avons (which you're getting because you're coming in substantially under $20K) will handle all that torque better than those banana skins you're riding on.
A Performer RPM and 850 with 18 at idle and 38 total.
Your teen will want to ride shot-gun past his school without being embarrassed anymore.
Even your genteel Missus will get the gleam back in her eye...
Dream of the possibilities.................
