I finally got my 3" inside diameter/4" core stainless steel mufflers on my car. The difference is like a couple of soda straws compared to a fire hose. Not much difference in volume but "seat of the pants" improvement. I will get db reading on iPhone soon.

The v-band was great idea. Sadly, I did not understand what V-Band was for. I used a three bolt flange like the 1960's headers. Not nearly as easy to remove for straight through pipe turnouts.

New mufflers still use original BDR heatshields. New 3" muffler is on left. New complete sidepipe is in center. Old style BDR is on right.
