Kenny my MSD 6AL is mounted inside the car under the glove box unside down with the chip hole facing out to swap easy if needed. Rubber mounted. 15 years, car has been in rain and major storms. No problem. Also have my ECU mounted in same place. I do have the foot air duct blow air to keep these units cooler than under the hood. 2 small tips, seal all seams with small bead of sealer,(clear) and electric dye grease on all connectors that might get wet or be near water.
