Indeed the logo is there, but the style of this logo, as shown on the air cleaner, was brought out in the 80's, that is what I was stating in my original post. The way in which it is cast is different than that of a 60's version. Just like some of the newer style valve covers (with just Shelby on them) is different than that of the original 60's versions.

if you would like to split hairs, I'll make the following statement with 100% accuracy:

"The valve covers and the air cleaner are not originals from the 60's", neither is this an original AC Cobra, but a made up AC Ace.
