Those Spax numbers are for leaf spring Mk2. I have a set. The front Spax shock will not fit a Mk1. You have to use an Ace shock. I don't believe Spax makes the Mk3 coil over shocks.

I agree with you. Think Koni is much better. Heavier built. There are used ones to get that need rebuilt but some guys have complained about the rebuilding in the states since the original valving is no longer made and they swap over to a new type valve resulting in a less effective shock. I have never had this done so I can't confirm one way or another.
