I'm sure the carpeting provided by the different manufacturer's is different, but the ERA carpet is a solid piece for the tunnel and the holes for the tubes need to be cut through the carpet. I haven't carpeted the tunnel yet, but for other holes in the carpet (seat belt mounting points, door latch mounts, etc.) I've made extensive use of an old solder iron to melt holes rather than try to cut around. ERA instructions are to paint the tubes black but I've kept my vinyl scraps and have enough to cover the tubes and thought about that already. Not sure what was original but the vinyl would look good.
