I was looking for some spacers for a trailer I was building. I called several tire dealers and was told the are illegal and they won't even touch a car that has them. I ended up getting some off the internet and they were clearly marked "Not for highway use, off road use only". On a trailer, I suppose they're fine but I would never put them on a vehicle, especially on the drive wheels.
