Just caught this Cobra Braggin
I've been very impressed with KC in terms of customer service (especially when something was wrong and replacement parts were needed). My limited research indicated all the same good parts as Rousch, for noticeably less (allowing me to upgrade to all aluminum). That said, I understand that a 427 Roush SBF runs a bit smoother than a KC (they do a lot of circle track engines). I've done some carb tuning and added vacuum advance (highly recommended for any engine) that smoothed things out a bit. Still a bit bucky during coast but the carb still isn't tuned right. Remember that my 427 is at ~1.3 HP/ci (kinda high). Meanwhile, full throttle from ~3500 rpm is downright exciting! Your choice of a bit lower HP/inch will reward you with really smooth daily driving and extreme fun when you want it. Believe me!
Keep us informed of your progress. Great thrills await you!
