VTR-852 from that an ASE Master Mechanic (rating A1 through A8 and NOT L1) is required to fill in. YES, DMV verifies their certification. This step is noted in the above procedure.

Yes, you will need to weigh your car.

Temporary Registration form: Just fax or email or call they will get it to you in minutes. Choice is 1 day, 72 hours or 144 hours in duration. I went with the one way...its really meant for truck routing for special loads, but DMV said I can use it for the Cobra to go from home, inspection, weigh station, County assessors office. Since they give you your temp/permanent registration at the office, you no longer need the temp registration that got you there:

TIP: READ THE PROCEDURE!!!! It was very helpful. Don't forget pictures of a genuine Shelby (off internet) and your car. Front, side and back of both your car and the car it replicates (shelby). Next pencil tracing of the VIN plate (I also supplied a photo), bill of sale. Last: you will need your check book to pay taxes...if you will have title, they will mail it to your home. Plates will also come later.
