Yes, and I love to be educated on Porsche's, when the OP doesn't even delineate between T, E and S, short and long hoods. And also doesn't break down the 1984-1986 911's with the 915 tranny and the later 87-89 G50's.

But alas, I don't "get IT." BTW, T's are sold for under $40K all the time. Just peak at eBay, PCA Mart, early911sregistry, Rennlist or "The Bird."
