Just thought I'd provide a bit of an update. (Cobra update coming later).
I've been riding for 3 months now. I'm doing on average about 70-80Km a week which probably doesn't seem like much to you regular cyclists but it's a lot more than I'd ever done even riding as a teenager.
I've dropped about 5KG and I'm wearing jeans I haven't fit into for ages so I'm feeling pretty happy with myself. I track my times and speeds riding to work with a phone app and I'm still seeing steady improvement. This sure helps with the motivation.
Unfortunately the bicycles are proving to be a bit addictive and I picked up a mountain bike today. It'll be better for the dirt trails near home when I'm riding with my daughter.
