I had about 7,000 miles on mine when it went bad. My friend has a lot newer Cobra then mine and his went bad at 3,500 miles. (Pretty sure it was 3,500! I know it was under 4,000) I meant to tell you I first replaced both of my U-Joints on the drive shaft. Still had the noise. Then I pulled the right passenger side and replaced it. ( It sounded like the noise was coming from the right side. It didn't seem bad to me. Then I test drove it still had the noise. Finally pulled the drivers side and it was dry!!! I also had my the joints checked and lubed next to the rear end. They were fine. My friend replaced both of his bearings at the same time also. Mark
