Default 67 cobra registration
Can someone explain to me how this all works in California? I am looking at an out of state car that is currently registered as a 1967 model kit.

Looking at the DMV site it sounds like I would nee it to meet smog regs, but them I hear about some sort of "get out of jail" clause that allows us to run the motors without needing smog.
Hows this work with out of state cars?
Any help in clearing up would be greatly appreciated.
