Battery disconnect in the dash,
cuts power to the engine and starter, switches and lights. Leaves interior lights, hazard switch and 12v cigarette plug bypassed.
Battery main switch (key removable) in the trunk shuts everything down.
Make sense?
The wiring is pretty simple, no grounding - just your 12V +side. Use good connectors.
