You know...i fought this pedal getting spongie and going to the floor on my BRD #260, heat boiling the brake fluid??? it boils at 475*f...man that is hot...I don't think this is the issue. If it was...you'd have brake issue also...correct? (I shielded the line and master cylinder...still had the problem) Mis-alignment of slave to clutch fork...you bet, but even fixing that it still failed in short order. What fixed mine was the double seal piston on the slave. Yep, it got the standard U cup....and an "O"ring seal. mazda ??? with the bleeder on the top....sweet! it been 3 years and 7000 miles...same slave! all I can say is it worked for me!
