Just a ping for this. This is a fundraiser for the museum. 2500 tickets have to be sold for the car to be auctioned before the party on the 14th. I just got mine last week and got 1600-1609.
This has nothing to do with Carroll or Shelby American (although many of his former colleagues and employees come to the gathering.) It helps preserve a collection (in one place) of a whole bunch of privately owned vehicles. This is the sister site to Larry H. Miller's collection at Miller Motorsports in Salt Lake.
