I believe the interpretation of the photograph is incorrect. Anyone who has watched the fabrication and assembly of Kirkham cars must be impressed with the quality and integrity of this product. Check out the array of photos they have supplied to this site.
Here is a link to another thread showing pictures of csx1000 and csx4000 aluminum body/frames in the Shelby Vegas facility.

Aluminum Body

These pictures are from the timeframe of fiberglass cars being sourced from South Africa.

Thus we have evidence of Vegas still building aluminum csx1000/csx4000 cars up from English/Kirkham body/frames as late as 2012.
