need ideas on why my MSD blaster 2 coil fried, it is 6yrs old. After a drive, extremely hot day, I parked the car in the garage. Next day tried to start it, No spark. Checked the coil resistance, no ohms. looked down the hole in the top and the whole inside was black. Bought another coil put the same coil wire on, no spark. Pulled on the coil wire attached to the boot on the coil. the tip was fried also. Going to replace it on Saturday. I wrapped the new coil in heat wrapping to protect it. Anyone have any ideas why the coil would fry
