Just got back from the bone yard...looked at Mustangs/cougars and even some F150's... The few V8 mustangs were 80's vintage.
I found one shaft out of a V8 LX with the right flange yoke at 2 1/2 inch bolt circle and 2 inch Pilot hole, but the shaft is 3 inches only in the center section and 2 3/4" at the ends where the weld flanges are.
Shouldn't the shaft be 3 inches all the way thru for ease of shortening?

What is the FFR crowd using? What car would the strongest come from?
Up here in Canada to have one made up, they want $CDN 400 plus.
