The reason that the marker pen marks are there ..........they where put there by the person who dynamiccally balanced the motor....it looks like it was done right.......the pressure plate and ring that you bolt to the flywheel should all have marks so that when you reassemble they go back exactly where they came from.............very important..........likewise when you reuse lifters and rockers, and pushrods etc, they need to go back where they came from...........the parts wear ( this is what breaking an engine in is all about)............
