Does anyone have any experience with using a tensor bar? I picked up some substantial rock chips on my windshield recently, and the shield finally expressed a crack between two of the chip points today. I am going to replace the windshield glass this week. I have not had any vibration problems up to this point, and I have not seen any tensor bars on members cars. However, I noticed that Finish Line shows a windshield tensor bar in it's catalog which is not very expensive. I was just trying to find out if this is an ounce of prevention against future cracking from vibration. Obviously, it won't prevent chips or cracks from rocks flying up from "the road devils". So what's the application for the tensor, in problem solving? Thanks.
