Dimis - thanks mate; you sound as excited about the car as I was when I found it for sale. I sent a link to the video to a mate saying something like "This is the type of Cobra that makes my heart skip a beat". I just can't get enough of the way it sounds at idle. Just off idle it gets a bit of a crackle with the compression. It's not setting off car alarms in my unit block, so it mustn't be too loud!

The guy in the video is Jeff, who I bought the car off. You're right, his leg looked super close to the pipes, but that was a cold start so the pipes wouldn't have been at full heat. Not like when I stuck my arm under them to fix the mounting bracket and gave myself a nice new birthmark on my wrist...

Craig - it was a bit of a surprise to me too. I am officially banning myself from car sales sites for a while.
