Bad luck Waz!
I hate hearing stories like this, and I want to throw something when I hear the "do-gooders" mouthing off about 'we
always sit five kays under the posted limit and we never have a problem'.
Revenue raising--pure and simple!
Whenever I come home from a road trip on the bike, it's like living on thin ice for the next three weeks waiting for the tickets to arrive. A well placed piece of mud has saved me on a few occasions
, but it's more difficult to use this ploy with a car. No wonder the sods want to re-introduce front number plates on bikes! I always have my Garmin on -- it has an Australia-wide program with an audio and visual warning of fixed cameras that is updated each year. Great for fixed cameras in built-up areas where it's easy to miss any warning signs because of sun on your visor or generally just concentrating on the traffic around you in unfamiliar territory, but of course useless with these sneakily placed every day cameras.
Anyway mate, sorry, I feel for you...
