I have the Richmond 5 speed and 2.88 rear ratio in ERA2041, with a 380 HP 351W . It works well and the gears are nicely spaced. However, the gearing is more suitable for high speed cruising (5th gear is 1:1). I think it turns around 2500 rpm at 80 mph, and it gets too windy above that to suit me. I drive mostly back roads, and very little highway. The car does not pull as hard from a standing start as I would like. If I was doing it over, I would definitely get the Richmond trans, but with a 3.08 or maybe 3.31 rear.
