I have used TOP OF THE HILL in Livermore. I have not had any engine or transmission work done there but they completely rebuilt my suspension and brake systems and now I have a COBRA that is much safer to drive. I am very pleased with the quality of effort and work they do. They also do engine and transmission work and I have observed a complete engine rebuild but I have no personal experience with either from TOH. It might be worth looking into.
