When I first went to do some work on my pedal assembly, in an older DRB, I thought about adopting a tall skinny kid with one arm who's knuckles dragged on the ground and who displayed a keen aptitude for contortionism .....but to no avail. I eventually put the car up on stands, took the seat out, found what seemed to be the most uncomfortable position I could and while simultaneously stretching and swearing in no particular order you'll almost be able to reach it all with the finger tips of one hand as only one arm and shoulder will fit.
