Greg - I was mistaken. What I saw was a soft, foam rubber seal that I had picked up to try out and I ruled out on a closer look as unsuitable. I'm well stocked for plumbing work now.

I'll stop by Home Depot (it's on my way) after work tomorrow and check on the part no. and manufacturer of what I use.
