I talked on the phone with a gentleman for the Ohio State Highway Patrol Inspection Station today. He told me that if they can't match the MSO #'s with a number on the body and/or frame, they will not approve the inspection, thus preventing me from titling the car.
To complicate my situation, I do not have the MSO. I do have a copy of the original purchase agreement from Classic to the original buyer of the kit from back in '99. The guy for the Inspection Station said that this should be enough provided that there is a number matching the frame/body. In a box labeled "for internal use only" on the purchase agreement, there is a six digit number, consistent with what the guy said would be on the MSO and (in his opinion) the frame/body.
Am I completely screwed here or is there another way around this?
