OKIE,
Not to confuse, but your serial tag was put on by the original State of registration-totally legal.

SGR, you misunderstood the OSP officer. The MSO DOES NOT have a matching number to the car-period! The MSO is only a so called "Birth Certificate" which metaphorically turns you pile of parts into a brand new "KIT" CAR.

I WILL SAY, BELIEVED AND LOBBIED that OHIO has this wrong! (So what else is new?!).

EXAMPLE WHY THEY ARE WRONG: Say a car guy, like any of us, builds his own car from scratch, my daughters 1946 GMC truck-seriously modified from original with an S-10 frame, 396 motor, 9" Ford rear end, WC T-5 tranny is titled as:
A modified Chevrolet S-10 Pick Up! using the legal original title from the S-10 The ORIGINAL TITLE which I have for a 1946 GMC PU is worthless!
DV

PS SGR- the Previous owner never had the car titled since 1999? If that is the case, "This is ugly!"
So you know the MSO is yellow and LOOKS like a title. "INTERNAL USE ONLY BOX" is just that. it is the ORDER number that Classic Roadsters assigned your kit to match up all the parts orders. Sorry.

PSS Sent you a PM
