Hi Dan,

Out of curiosity, I just paged through my book: "Shelby Cobra Fifty Years" by Colin Comer. There are dozens of photos in the book and here is what I observed regarding wipers. The book starts, of course, with the 289 cars and, although the vast majority park to the passenger side, there were a couple of examples where they parked to the driver's side. For the 427s, all the photos where wipers are visible indicate they park to the passenger side. I noted that there are a lot of photos of 427 street cars (over a dozen) - all parked to passenger side. Interestingly, when the story got to the continuation cars, all the photos of them show wipers parked to driver side. For the replicas pictured in the book (not many photos) I saw a Superformance with wipers parked to driver's side.

Not relevant to your car, but interesting, was the Daytona Coupe. The first one made - CSX2287 - parked to passenger side but photos of subsequent cars showed them parked to the driver's side.
