Hi guys. Thanks for the comments. My objective was to replicate a 427 Street model and make it as originally looking as possible.

The color: 1965/66 Ford Rangoon Red (one of the color options on the period Cobras).

The seats: Wanted something "more" than the original seats. More padding under my butt, more side/lumbar support, and more height to the back. Started with seats I bought at Kragen's (now O'Reilley's), cut the back down lower (was a high back with cutouts for a shoulder harness) and had them recovered in more period correct material.

Downside: I now sit a little higher than I'd like and have less thigh room to the steering wheel ( I may go to a 13" wheel), but overall more comfortable that the original shells.

And a long story behind the Sunbursts.
