Default GT-40 in Ohio

I did not get transferred to Detroit from California until late 1967 and did not bring my Cobra back there until 1968 so no, I never saw the GT-40. I do remember a GT-40 that ran in Pleasanton Ca in 1966 and 1967 it was silver and owned by a Dentist. I remember being shocked at how small it was, as I recall it was very fast too. I got a ride in a Collier owned GT-40 at the Ford test track in Florida and was impressed with how well it handled. The Webers were not working well so times around the test track were not all that impressive.
Jackie Stewart was driving the car and I am pretty sure the times would have been very good without the stumbling and back firing. He said the GT-40 was one of the best handling sports car he had ever driven.
