I've recently purchased a Keith Craft alum 427 SO (stroked to 482 c.i.), Robert Pond block. It has about 3k on it, no problems it is an aboslute torque monster. Has not burned one drop of
oil, great engine. I toured his shop in May, it was modern and spotless, maned by qualified personnel. Time was spent discussing what I wanted out of the engine and what it was to be used for. I had a Roush 427SR with the twisted wedge cam, at 8k had to put new valves in it due to valve stem wear, dumped it for the KC engine. Move vote is for the KC engine.
