Hi Craig,
Yes it does sit well back - I'll get some shots up of the engine bay soon. When I sit in the car, the position of the gear lever seems to be perfect for me. One of the other features of the car is the adjustable seat position - it comes on sliders - so there is the ability and room to move the driver's seat forward and back to get the seating position to the wheel and gear lever right for different people.
