Finally got the Trenton paperwork done and scheduled to go to Asbury Park in a couple weeks. Spoke to the guy down there and he seems OK, he gave me a bunch of the things on his inspection checklist. So one item relates to ground clearance. He was saying that I need 2" of clearance imagining that the car is sitting on its rims without tires.
Anyone ever hear of anything like that? I have a slabside so the exhaust system is routed underneath the car - that may be a problem since the muffler is a bit lower than the frame.
Crazy regs...
I am planning on going there anyway and assuming that he will give me a punchlist of stuff to do. Just hope nothing major...my patience is wearing thin
