I know I have posted the scans from my original Ford Service Manual showing exactly how much contact Ford called for with the starter motor and flywheel, but I can't find it in any of my 15k posts.
So, if I don't stumble on it this morning, I'll just rescan and repost them for you. It's handy to have when you pull everything and start really measuring.
