Not surprising, coming from a guy whose still in gel coat.
If you've ever seen a fully polished Kirkham in person, you'd know they pull eyes away from the Mona Lisa, or the great pyramids of Giza.
From where I sit, they even they look good to me in just a filed finish.
Brushed certainly is timeless, but I like the thought of polished at left to patina gracefully with time. Either way you can't go too far wrong unless you paint it in fluro I'd have thought.
