Small claims court is useless. I took someone there - he didn't show up. Although the judge ruled in my favor by default, the small claims court had no authority to MAKE him pay. They can decide who is right and who is wrong, but no power to back it up.

Even though I was awarded judgement, I never got any money and never got my part back. Nothing happened to him at all.
