Grub: It would be my guess that unfortunately there are small dimension differences (from various suppliers) in either the small brackets (hole spacing) or the pre drilled holes in the windshield frame. Perhaps the prior owner got the hardware and sunvisors from a vendor other than ERA. Quite some time ago I was going to replicate the pre bent brackets that attach to the windshield frame because a small amount of the chrome had flaked on a couple of mine. I soon realized that after cutting and bending some stainless, that I would need a Mill and more toooling than I had to make it right, and then they would need to be polished. I bought another set. Thread locker is well advized on all the attaching screws and the set screws, as they take a lot of buffeting from the wind. They are definately a worthwhile addition. Use two hand when you adjust them, one at each pivot. Good luck........
