To answer your question, no, it's not worth it.

That's probably a reasonable price, considering the system will approach $5-6k just by itself, not including the labor to install and tune.

If you're looking for horsepower, you won't find it here unless your carb is undersized. If you're looking for gas mileage, the ROI just won't be there.

If you're looking for a more modern induction system that would allow the engine to function more efficiently and would give you more modern OEM "perks", then you would have to weigh how much that means to you against the price.
