Default GoPro tips

Not sure this is the best forum for this but my wife bought me a GoPro camera and I'm looking for a few tips on how best to use it to capture some car video. I suspect there are a number of members on here with GoPros.

My first try was OK (pretty pedestrian) but it looks like the medium angle setting might work better than the wide angle setting for video (correct-?) Also, I used the non-waterproof back on the camera but wind noise at speed is pretty strong. Any way to cut that down - use the water-proof back maybe?

And finally, the suction cup mount works great on the roadster but I'm looking for an idea on how to mount it to the interior of some of my other hardtop cars (66 Corvette for one) that don't have any smooth, hard surfaces inside to mount to. Not too keen on using the adhesive mounts.

Thanks
