I put on a power steering unit in my CR 2 years ago when I was racing Autocross and needed quicker - easier steering then the manual rack supplied.
There are more expensive units available but I have a Duralast 64163 that I picked up at an AutoZone store for less then $100.
I got the Power Steering Pump AGR-808102 , P.S. Pulley MCH-630 & MCH-360 ,P.S.Bracket MCH-30035-09 and U-Joint SUM -770663 from Summit Racing.
I haven't had a bit of trouble with this unit and the difference it makes in the effortless steering is well worth the price and work to put it in.
