Shelby Cobra Continuations are NOT $200K cars. You can "wax on" and/or "wax off" about a build sheet from HRE for $245K, but anyone can be taken advantage of and spend zillions on their build. Or cajole an insurance company into thinking their car is worth $245K by using a "toilet paper appraisal". The fact of the matter is that there's an unsold CSX alloy asking $165K.
So let's get REAL and scoop some poop.

Let's look at this a different way. Whether you think it is worth it or not a new aluminum Shelby roller is $160k. I haven't verified that but no one seems to be challenging it. Is it unreasonable to expect a full drivetrain and installation, along with a few options not included in the base price will add another $40k? I know mine came close to that a few years ago. You now have a $200k car. You may not agree that it's worth that much but that's what it cost. Those being sold for less may have been purchased before the roller price increases. Or the seller may be willing to take a loss for whatever reason.
