With the pending arrival of my kit, plus the recent acquisition of a hobby farm, I find myself needing (wanting) to weld stuff!

I borrow my brothers inverter arc welder, and make some things stick but I'm pretty cr@p at it!

I was thinking I'd like to do a short night or weekend course. As much for interest as anything. And probably with mig, tig, arc and maybe oxy too.

My question I'll put out there is: does anyone have recommendations or suggestions on the type of courses or institutions they've had experience with and they could recommend? Clearly Melbourne based, and ideally between South Melbourne (work) and north eastern suburbs (home).
