I just did a Quik Time in the car with the 4" cut off wheel in a grinder and dusted over it with the disc pad. They are pretty quick and easy and it makes a huge difference in ground clearance. I'd rather touch my pan with the clearance between pan and pickup. That would at least graze over something. I still see the pan is higher than the bellhousing. The bellhousing/motor plate is a hook waiting to run into a high manhole cover or something and try and tear your running gear out.
