As for the exhaust, talk about tight packaging. There was simply no room for error when they were built by Kirkham. Originally, they looked like the photo taken with them adjacent to the headers.

The pipes were fabricated using a dummy block and heads in Provo. Due to tolerance stack-ups and the inevitable subtle differences in position of the block, heads, and transmission, the driver's side pipe didn't fit. So, I had some flex couplers tig welded in by a local exhaust fabricator.

If anyone is considering a full undercar exhaust, I strongly recommend using these. Plus it really helps with vibration isolation. Wouldn't want my pretty headers to crack! The engine needs to come out to remove them, which would be a bad day.
Those are nice looking headers. ERAs are a bit more utilitarian but the nice thing is they can go on and come off with the engine in the car. Those mufflers look like SpinTechs if I'm not mistaken. That is what I used 2-1/2 inch in and out SpinTechs that are 3 inch thick. They sound pretty good to me - a good healthy rumble at idle but fairly quite cruising along. Step on the throttle and they roar pretty good. Again - very nice car.
