I have seen some CV shafts on the driveshaftshop, with carbon fiber tubes looking pretty flash.
I really just forgot about that train of thought and got wound up in trying to find something off the shelf to fit without cutting off the spigot on the output shaft.
I'm committed now unless i want some nice blingy paper weights.
