i'm just going thru fabing up my
oil lines too, i'm not using that type of remote housing, i got a WIX housing and mounted it on the frame rail at the rear of the motor right behind the motor mount, so the filter hangs down right around where my drain plug is. my lines end up being less than a foot long each.
